Description:
The MIC Highflex HYBRID is a special version of our professional triple cored The MIC HYBRID with an improved flexibility, aiming at its use as a high quality microphone and electrical instrument cable in situations where freedom of movement (performer) without compromising related cable quality is important.
The design of The MIC Highflex HYBRID is essentially identical to that of our The MIC HYBRID. (Please refer to The MIC HYBRID for a more detailed description).
Shortly compiling:
- Triple core, with each multistrand core made of dense Silver coated Matched Crystal OFC and additional steel reinforcement strands.
- Kevlar reinforced fiber filler groups.
- Double screened:
- A dense Silver coated Matched Crystal OFC braid.
- A Linear Structured Carbon ® saturated Hybrid layer.
Comparing The MIC Highflex HYBRID to our The MIC HYBRID the following differences stand out:
- Usage of our very flexible and rugged HULLIFLEX ® as jacket material instead of rigid PUR (Polyurethane).
- The middle of the three screen layers (a Mylar coated Aluminum foil helix) has been omitted;
Latter difference has no consequences on the cable’s noise immunity considering practical stage cable lengths.
The MIC Highflex HYBRID is available in ready made lengths to your specifications and on 100 m. reels with a total shipping weight of 6.68 kg. including the 25.5 x 25.5 x 20.5 cm. box.
On customer demand we mount Gold plated Neutrik XLR connectors with great care using the full potential of all the properties (including Kevlar strain relief) of this highly acclaimed product.
