ה BLACK BEAUTY זו סידרה מיוחדת של ראשי פטיפון Moving Coil שלמעשה הינה שיפור של סדרת ה GRASSHOPPER  , ומיוצרת בעבודת יד עיי המאסטר-אמן  A . J . Van Den Hul .ונחשבת לאחת מסידרת הראשים הטיבים והחשובים בעולם ! ,סדרה זו מגיעה ב שלשה דגמים והם:

1.The BLACK BEAUTY Special-X: ועם נתונים של gold coils and 0.50 mV/channel output
2.The WHITE BEAUTY Special-X: ועם נתונים של crystal silver coils and 0.50 mV/channel  output
The WHITE BEAUTY Special-X HO.3 ועם נתונים של copper coils and 2.25 mV/channel output.

 השוני והשיפור העיקרי מסידרת הGRASSHOPPER כפי שמתאר אותו היצרן:

1. Improved magnetic layout, -construction and -properties.
2. A reduced cantilever length.
3. Due to points 1 and 2 the resolution is higher.
4. The suspension uses a very special damping rubber.
5. There is more “space” between the musical instruments and vocals.
6. The output is reduced from 0.65 mV/ch. to 0.50 mV/ch. by using double layer Matched Crystal Gold coils on a cross-shaped armature, both producing a higher channel separation
